Tuesday and Wednesday October 29-30th, 7:30-4:30 and 8:30-4:00 pm 2019 Wisconsin Human Trafficking Conference presented by The Wisconsin Deppartment of Justice, Wisconsin’s U.S. Attorneys’ Offices, and the 2019 Human Trafficking Conference Planning Committee. This year’s conference will be held at the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, WI, more details can be found at the registration SITE.
Friday, November 1st, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm The 2019 Unity Point Health – Meriter Fall Ethics Conference, Human Trafficking in Our Community, will be held at American Family Insurance Headquarters, 6000 American Parkway, Madison. Sunday November 10th, 1:45-4:00 pm Human Trafficking in Dane County: Toward A United Christian Response will be lead by Every Daughter, Zeteo Community Homes, bigbighouse, Abolition Wisconsin, Collaboration Project and others. Saturday November 16th, 12 -4 pm Lotus Legal Clinic will be celebrating their Untold Stories Alumni with a one-day art installation entitled Rise & Thrive: A Lives in Landscape Exhibition. The Untold Stories project has empowered men and women alike to bear witness and share their stories as vehicles for powerful social change and this year alumni of those efforts have collaborated with artist Brianna joy Spiegel to select a landscape in which they have found healing, inspiration, and transformation. The event will be held at Knowlton Law Group, 7219 W Center Street in Wauwatosa, and is free and open to the public, no RSVP is necessary.
